Here at the Early Modern Food Network, you could say we have a hunger for knowledge. Okay, a bad pun, but you'll see plenty more of them. What we also would like to see more of is books. Books, articles, journals, and blogs that we can read. Below you will find a list of suggested titles--some of which will be featured in review posts by both us and our guest bloggers, others that may show up as topics for a reading group. Either way, we hope to constantly increase our awareness of the work out there on food studies and, more specifically, food studies in the early modern era. We welcome your suggestions!
